Based in Mloka, Rufiji
Locally-owned Tanzania tour operator based in Mloka, Rufiji — an unusual southern-circuit base rather than the standard Arusha/Moshi geography. This position matters because the operator's primary specialty is southern-circuit safaris in Nyerere and Mikumi National Parks, plus Ruaha — the vast, wildlife-rich but under-visited alternative to the northern circuit. Portfolio spans 2 to 14-day trips with published pricing $500 to $4,969+. Programme range: private safaris, group-joining safaris, and flying safaris for time-constrained travellers. Activities include game drives, Rufiji River boat safaris (a Nyerere signature), walking safaris, hiking, and cultural tours. Also covers Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Lake Manyara for combined northern-southern circuits, plus Zanzibar beach extensions. Positioning is expertly-guided experiences with professional driver-guides and maintained safari vehicles. Contact: +255 742 740 887, info@alfamaletoursandsafaris.com.

Amazing experience on a 2-day, 1-night safari to Nyerere National Park. Everything was well organized and professional. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife — we saw a great variety of animals with well-timed game drives.
The boat safari along the Rufiji River was a special experience, and the accommodation and meals were comfortable and exceeded expectations. The Selous safari was by far the best part of our trip — our guide made sure we saw everything.
